- Continuously evaluate best cost country markets for relevant strategic materials and suppliers
- Develop and negotiate global or regional contracts and supply agreements with key suppliers
- Drive supplier relationship management across sub-functional portfolio
- Act as a team leader for strategic sourcing initiatives and maintain liaison with R&D and Operations
- Conduct comprehensive market research for strategic materials on a global basis
- Be the center of expertise for the specific projects in his/her sourcing responsibility
- Direct and manage the development of stable and responsive relationships with internal customers and stakeholders to understand their requirements and guarantee alignment with global procurement approach
- Be the bridge between Sourcing, Purchasing, QA, R&D, Production and suppliers to drive continuous improvement of the quality of material and services at best possible total costs
- Interface within network of global Sourcing category
- Specific knowledge of local sourcing processes within procurement, Supply chain processes, Quality Management Systems (ISO/QS9000), GMP, Regulatory Requirements and Logistics Processes, Principles and Practices is highly desired
- Strong negotiating, communication, influencing and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated analytical decision making skills and creative thought process ability
- Service oriented
- Able to work in teams
- Sound knowledge of business practices, financial tools and company Procurement policies and procedures
- Understand and fulfil the requirements of customers
- Strong knowledge best practice tactical purchasing tools and methods

Requirements
- BA or equivalent degree in a natural science and/or business discipline or several years of experience in the area of Procurement for Contract manufacturing- Specific knowledge of local sourcing processes within procurement, Supply chain processes, Quality Management Systems (ISO/QS9000), GMP, Regulatory Requirements and Logistics Processes, Principles and Practices is highly desired
- Strong negotiating, communication, influencing and problem solving skills
