Purpose of the stand:

Optimizing the supply chain process, formalizing the principles of cooperation with suppliers, optimizing purchasing costs, looking for alternative sources of supply

What will you be doing?

• establishing and maintaining long term cooperation with suppliers while maintaining standards consistent with the requirements of BMZ and customer requirements
• negotiating terms of cooperation with suppliers
• realization projects for implementing new products or changes to the existing product range
• searching, initiating and implementing innovative solutions to optimize purchasing costs
• market analysis of searching for potential suppliers for selected categories and their implementation into the supplier base
• searching for and implementing alternative sources of supply and / or alternative technical and technological possibilities of products
• maintaining and developing relationships with current suppliers
• evaluation suppliers and implementation of improvements in cooperation with suppliers

What do we expect?

• minimum 5 years of experience in the independent position of a purchasing specialist / senior purchasing specialist, in an international company, in the area of purchasing raw materials and / or components (is welcome knowledge in the field of lithium-ion cells / batteries)
• experience in negotiations with suppliers, independence and initiative in activity
• focus on the optimization of activities and the search for solutions leading to lower purchasing costs
• persistence in achieving the goal
• highly developed interpersonal and analytical skills
• very good command of the English language, sufficient to communicate easily
• experience in cooperation with the Asian market - mainly China
• knowledge of the MRP / ERP system
