ROLE DESCRIPTION

Global Marketing & Technical Sales Manager Leather Chemicals - home office

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promotion & development of leather portfolio to customers, distributors and sales force globally
• Training of sales-force on promotional material
• Managing product roll-out and range life-cycle management
• Selection of distributors and on-going technical support
• Drive sales and new business development of leather product lines
• Creation of marketing brochures, benchmark studies & argumentation packs
• Establish price lists and collaborate with commercial team on tenders and exceptional pricing
• Close collaboration with BOL to manage inventory, production and sampling
• Technical work for customers, as well as product development, with the support of one lab technician

REQUIREMENTS

• Technical degree in Leather Technology or similar qualification
• 10+ years’ experience in leather industry, with strong industry network
• Practical and theoretical experience in leather dying an asset
• Global sales experience and strong sales track record
• Strong marketing skills
• High level of financial acumen
• Confident with MS office suite, particularly excel
• Willing to travel extensively
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong team player with a clear track record of working independently
• Fluent in English & German – any additional languages welcome
