The Company

The client we are looking for is a multinational. It is a former family owned company, within the company this culture still prevails. They have three plants around the world and are looking for a strong planner who can direct these plants from the head office. Visiting the plants is part of your job responsibilities.

Role Description

In your role as Global Demand Planner you are responsible for an optimal production process and forecast within the company. You are the contact person for both sales and project managers. You make both the middle and long-term planning and come pro-actively with improvement proposals. You are expected to have a hands-on personality and to handle the freedom and responsibility you have in this role.
You will report to the Global Supply Chain Manager.

Responsibilities

- Deploying a strategy to optimize the Global planning processes.
- Set up a Demand plan on the basis of customer information
- Set up daily Global order planning
- Monitoring the capacity per production facility
- Preparing weekly and monthly KPIs

Requirements

- Minimum HBO education in relevant direction
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Customer oriented
- Good with Excel and knowledge of ERP systems
- Strong in both English and Dutch
- Passion for LEAN / continuous improvement processes
- Strong in setting priorities
