Your new company
For our Client- an international, rapidly growing company located in Katowice, we are looking for the person to hold the position: Global AR & Intercompany – Senior Manager.

Your new role
You will be responsible for managing and supervising the Global Accounts Receivable(AR) and Intercompany Accounting process and ensure that all procedures are performed to Group standards and accounting, legal and statutory requirements ensuring service levels are met or exceeded for all customer requirements. Scope of duties included:
  • Drive development, implementation and management of global AR and Intercompany processes, ensuring appropriate transition to BSC from local operations
  • Develop and manage department performance in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
  • Oversee Intercompany transactions and reconcilliations ensuring no out of balance situations at month close
  • Ensure timely settlement of intercompany balances and dispute resolution
  • Support Finance and Accounting teams, especially on sales cut-off and Revenue recognition
  • Dealing with escalations and queries from internal and external customers and resovling issues
  • Participate in Microsoft Dynamics D365 implementation during blueprinting and rollout phases of AR and Intercompany processes
  • Supply monthly required reporting and ad hoc reporting for local, regional and global purposes
  • Comply with adequate financial controls, ensuring that internal and external audit requirements are met
  • Drive, design and implement AR and Intercompany process improvements, including RPA, to build center of excellence, supporting policy formulation , best practice adoption, with robust procedures and manuals
  • Become the lead Global Process Owner for AR and Intercompany processes
  • Supervise, train and coach the team above 10 people on day-to-day basis
  • Lead, motivate team to adhere to company’s values and deliver a high level of staff engagementt
  • Support cash flow forecasting and target achievements

What you'll need to succeed
To be the best Candidate for this role, you will need Finance/Economics educational background, experience in a similar position (at least 6-7 years), very good knowledge of MS Excel, experience working in Microsoft Dynamics /Navision preferred and be fluent in English (min B2). You have to be able to manage people performance and development.
