Job Description

For our Client, one of the biggest international company, we are looking for the Candidate for a position gl team leader. GLTL/RFS/01/12/KK

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • manage GL team, being responsible for the day to day activities (. assets, payroll and treasury accounts management), daily operational team planning and performance deliverables
  • supervise month end tasks: GL closing, reconciliations, intercompany activities
  • ensure timely processing of all transactions according to agreed SLA and KPI levels
  • ensure completeness and reliability of entries regarding all accounting events
  • act as point of contact for all process/people related escalations.
  • ensure timely delivery of audit requirements
  • ensure audit compliance concerning knowledge management, documentation and various policies
  • proactively minimize customer issues and concerns
  • attend meetings and present performance indicators on internal operational reviews
  • drive improvement of customer related and business metrics
  • develop effective, high performing team
  • recognize and reward individual and team level achievements
  • identify training, coaching and budding opportunities and needs for all team members
  • ensure full understanding of the existing company policies among employees
  • screen and select team members as per customer requirements.
  • fully understand and master the team's scope of all activities and related business processes.
  • ownership of SOW maintenance and adherence
  • maintain knowledge and understanding of financial performance indicators per the respective operational teams
  • build strong communication and close working relationship with the key stakeholders at Customer side just as with internal functions
  • identify and drive process improvement opportunities, projects aligned with business initiatives and customer needs
  • lead resolution of technical, infrastructure related problems of the respective operational team
  • ensure understanding of the company’s disciplinary process, implement as and when required

Requirements:

  • university degree
  • five years of experience in GL Department / 2 years of experience as GL Team Leader / Manager
  • understanding of GL activities in scope
  • experienced with SAP and request tools
  • ability to handle Clients with problem solving approach
  • candidate should be able to act promptly on any escalation or complex situation and should ensure maximum Client satisfaction
  • team leading & communication skills
  • advanced reporting skills
  • at least B2 English level
  • candidate should be able to understand the expectations of the team and ensure smooth running of operations meeting client requirements
