The Skawina site is the world's largest Valeo Group plant specializing in automotive heat exchangers. Currently, the largest R&D center in Poland employs nearly 200 qualified Engineers involved in projects for many countries around the world.

General Ledger Accountant
Location: Skawina, KrakówResponsibilities:
- Performing daily accounting transactions in GL processes;
- Participating in month end closing proces;
- Preparing regular Monthly, Half Yearly, Yearly and ad hoc reporting;
- Providing accurate commentary on significant movements in the period /financial review;
- Completing all accounting activities upon which reporting depends in a timely and accurate manner;
- Performing a detailed review of both B/S and P/L accounts for errors, omissions or inconsistencies;
- Performing monthly and quarterly tasks in line with procedures including fixed assets;
- Reconciliation of payroll and accruals accounts;
- Taking full responsibility for timely preparation of all reports related to allocated Entities.
Requirements:
- Min. 2-3 years of experience on a similar position;
- Master degree in Finance and Accounting field;
- Very good knowlege of Accounting subject;
- Knowledge of English min. B2;
- Knowledge of France will be an advantage;
- Very good knowledge of Excel;
- Good knowledge of SAP;
- Experience in preparing financial statements;
- Commitment and motivation to work;
- Responsibility, accuracy and conscientiousness.
