Your new company
You will join a leading global software developer and provider of standard and cloud-based solutions for the retail industry, with more than 500,000 retail and payment installations in over 60 countries. Over 1000 employees around the world work on solutions that provide a comprehensive shopping experience, improving the relationship between customers and retailers every day.
Your new role
As a fullstack developer, you will join newly established software development centre of a company and work in international teams to create and customise solutions used by retail industry, like POS systems, self-checkout systems, self-scanning systems and inventory apps.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Customising the standard product software for our customers,
- Building new business processes or adjusting existing business processes on: cash register systems, scale systems, self-checkout systems,
- Creating software for central services: cash management services, POS reporting services, master data management services, goods flow monitoring systems, Store Manager, promotion designer, mobile devices, Edge services.
What you39ll need to succeed
- Graduate of a technical university (ideally specialising in SW development) or relevant experience
- Experience with several of the following tools, technologies and frameworks: Java, Spring, REST, Maven, Eclipse, Git, Gitlab, Jenkins, Mockito, Cloud, Oracle, MSSQL,
- Knowledge of TypeScript, vue.JS and frontend development,
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns,
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills,
- Quick grasp of new topics,
- Enjoy developing innovative solutions in motivated, international development teams,
- Fluent communication skills in English
