Senior Full-stack developer
GfK NORM is part of GfK, one of the world’s largest market research companies. We offer a unique suite of shopper research tools and advise our clients in their strategic and operational shopper activities. We started in 2003 – as one of the first agencies in the world – with the development of Simstore, our propriety software for conducting virtual shopper research. Simstore unlocks decision making processes and predicts the impact of marketing activities disregard of people buying online or in-store. We offer our clients a solid and effective way to win at point of purchase: the methodology is proven, fast and affordable. Our heritage is within the FMCG industry, serving the largest FMCG companies worldwide.
The company has offices in Stockholm and Amsterdam and employs 60 people in total.
We are now expanding our business to Wroclaw, and we are looking for a Full-stack developer to join our awesome tech team.
Description
As a Full-stack developer you will be responsible for understanding the overall architecture of our web applications, developing and creating new features while ensuring responsiveness of the database queries, server and client code.
You will become part of a highly motivated and international development team based in Stockholm, with an amazing opportunity to help shape/lead a digital team. You will work with the latest technologies, have influence over technological decisions and work in an environment with a high degree of freedom.
Wymagania
- 5+ years of software development experience, good if it is in software for data gathering and analysis
- Proficient in Python and PHP development
- Practical experience with web technologies, such as HTML/CSS/JavaScript, UI frameworks and libraries (e.g. React, angularJS etc.)
- Experience with containerization technologies and Docker environment
- Experience in building cloud-based solutions (AWS)
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Strong communication skills and experience working in a team environment and remotely
- Fluent verbal and written language skills in English
