Job Description
As a Formulation Nutritionist, you are the hub of the organization, with a strong focus on customer requirements, knowledge development and product innovation. Together with your fellow nutritionists, you form the bridge between the various departments such as Production, Sales, Purchasing and Quality. You like to be there for others and are capable of organizing your versatile range of tasks. Initiative and independence are the key words for operating successfully in this role.
Responsibilities
- Advising, formulating and optimizing (premix) recipes;
- Translating production and quality requirements into recipes;
- Implementation of new nutritional and physicochemical parameters in the recipe optimization;
- Updating and implementing laws and regulations and certification in close cooperation with our Quality Department;
- Valuation of (premix) raw materials.
Requirements
- HBO/WO thinking and working level, preferably in the direction of animal nutrition, food technology or chemical technology;
- Work experience in such a position is an advantage, but not a requirement;
- Affinity with the animal feed industry, in particular with animal nutrition, (premix) production and quality;
- Handson and solution-oriented;
- Accurate, structured and analytical;
- Enthusiastic team player in an international organization;
- Good contact and communication skills;
- Command of Dutch and English in word and writing.
