Role description
As a Food Technology Technician, you will be responsible for the starter cultures for the dairy market. You will be in charge of the development of new products utilizing microbiological methods.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of innovative culture blends for fermented milk products
- Analyze bioprotection provided by starter cultures against unwanted yeast and fungi
- Aid in the production of yoghurt-type prototypes
- Apply general microbial analysis techniques, such as acidification curves
- Manage your work and present results to project teams and scientists
Requirements
- MBO or HBO in Microbiology Food Technology, or relevant field.
- Food industry knowledge
- Pro-active mindset and hands-on
- Excellence communications skills in Dutch and English (oral & written)
