For our Clientone of the world’s leading providers of automated industrial drive systems and services who establishedGlobal Finance Operations Centre in Katowice we are currently looking for Candidate ready to join to the wide known company as a Fixed Asset Accountant.
On this position you will be responsible for:
- Process Budget Approval requests
- Process asset capitalization forms
- Perform asset disposals, transfer, scrapping and retirements
- Perform assigned month end tasks for fixed assets
- Reconcile dedicated GL accounts and resolve any unreconciled items on a monthly basis
- Prepare related journal entries
- Prepare and distribute fixed asset reports
- Maintain asset folders in line with record retention policy
- Asset tagging
- Participate in annual inventory process (documentation work) and process of FA and Investment Management closure
- Provide feedback/ suggestions to improve existing processes and update procedures accordingly,
- Ensure proper company policies and documented Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) procedures are being followed
To besucceed on this position you should have:
- Good knowledge of financial accounting
- Proven experience on a similar position or/and at least 2 year experience in FA, GL, AP, AR, IC or T&E
- Relevant University degree preferred - Accounting or Finance or equivalent education
- Advanced English
- Good Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels
- Flexibility to work within a changing environment
- SAP knowledge will be an asset
