Financial Director
On behalf of our client, international, family-owned company with multiple manufacturing facilities across Europe and couple of them in Poland, we are currently looking for an experienced and self-driven candidates for the position of Financial Director to run finances of Polish operations. The role is based in Żary and requires presence there.

The client is an international, privately-owned company from heavy industry sector. The company operates across Europe with numerous facilities and sales offices.
Description
- Responsible for hands on analysis to support and improve the operational effectiveness of the production plants in Poland (cost control / cash flow management)
- Preparation of the annual budget and long-term plans, forecast and control of their implementation
- Preparation of monthly and annual P&L statements, capital and operating budget development and statutory reporting for the Group
- Provide business analysis to understand manufacturing variance, variable and fixed costs, impacts of productivity improvements and capital investments
- Ensure timely preparation of all required financial reports in order to meet all legal, local reporting requirements; oversees tax of the local entities
- Oversee and direct Accounting Team Members in safe, quality-minded and productive manner with a sense of urgency to address priorities as scheduled
- Enhancing work culture and helping others develop their long term career goals
Profile
- University degree required with a focus in accounting/controlling or equivalent
- 10+ years experience in finance (preferably manufacturing environment) with at least 2 years on managerial position
- Very good knowledge of IFRS and Polish Accounting Standards, consolidation and local tax regulations
- Ability to perform under pressure and in ambiguous situations
- Strong analytical, relationship building and business partnering skills
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills - ability to balance and prioritize several projects simultaneously
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Very good English language knowledge
