We are looking for candidates to join a new GBS in Gdańsk on a position of:
Financial Controller
Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting - ensures that monthly internal financial reporting is accomplished timely and accurately, in line with appropriate accounting standards
- performs monthly review of Financials to ensure top quality of reported numbers
- Performs monthly review of explanations,
- Performs analysis of the specific areas assigned (e.g. intercompany, working capital, revenue , cost , fixed assets etc.)
- Provide input to management report (consolidate input, prepare power point and monthly controlling checklist, with analysis)
- Provide input to performance review and support as requested.
- Ensure adequate support to the business partners as requested
- Ownership of AtR process with attainment of objectives and KPI for processes conducted out of the Gdansk office
- Post reporting followup to ensure action items are resolved before the next month end
- Assist with Adhoc reporting queries.
- Assist with Audit queries and support ensuring timely documentation and submission of audit requests
- 4-5 years of experience in financial reporting or controlling
- Medium knowledge in working with financial books/financial controlling in Financial Consolidation System
- Good understanding of IFRS
- Ability to translate the standards into guidelines for the accounting team
- Knowledge with process standardisation and improvement
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English
