For our Client, global Shared Service Centre based in Cracow, we are currently looking for experienced professional who is ready to take the independent position of Financial Accountant.
The person will be a part of General Ledger team and will be involved in all the US and Spanish local accounting, reporting, process and compliance activities. The role will be heavily involved in all finance related matters for both US\Spanish GAAP, working with the team to ensure adherence to corporate guidelines and policies as well as local rules and procedures. On this position you will be dedicated to the month end closing according to US GAAP, the reconciliation of the assigned balance sheet accounts, the revenue recognition process. You will be also involved in preparation of the annual Statutory Accounts, preparation of VAT declarations and, with support of local Spanish consultant, the CIT prepayments.
To be successful on this position you need to have relevant accounting experience (at least 2-years) together with fluent Spanish and very good English. Knowledge of SAP and very good knowledge of Microsoft Office are desirable as well asDemonstrated VAT/tax capabilities as well as statutory returns experience in a multinational environment. HFM reporting systems experience will be considered as a plus
