Finance Transformation Director
Our client is one of the leaders in consulting globally. We are supporting them in strengthening their global Finance Transformation practice through which they help clients reshape their finance processes, including using technology and automation. They are scaling up and looking for experienced professionals for senior roles in the area of overall finance transformation, as well as experts in various processes such as O2C and P2P.

Our client is one of the leaders in consulting globally. We are supporting them in strengthening their global Finance Transformation practice through which they help clients reshape their finance processes, including using technology and automation. They are scaling up and looking for experienced professionals for senior roles in the area of overall finance transformation, as well as experts in various processes such as O2C and P2P. The roles are on Director level and will involve leading projects in various locations across Europe and beyond - both remotely and via traveling to client locations.
This is a unique opportunity to join a consulting firm for people who have no prior consulting experience but have a practical transformation background from the business side. Practitioners with prior experience in shared services / global business services / business process models will be considered. Some of the roles do not require direct sales targets but rather a focus on providing advisory and transformation services of the highest caliber.
This could also be a very interesting step for people with experience in consulting.
Description
- Take part in complex and large finance transformations projects for clients in various geographies
- Partner with clients to gather necessary understanding of business objectives and processes
- Assess the current state of clients' finance area maturity and set up and propose new target operating model
- Recommend solutions that fit the clients' needs, evaluate the impact of solutions against requirements
- Lead the transition to new models based on optimal process design, the use of technology and automation (AI, RPA)
- Supervise projects teams by identifying and mitigating potential risks
- Work closely and build relationships with coworkers and key stakeholders within the client organizations
- Take part in client pitches as an expert in the given area of finance
- Work remotely and in offices in Poland, and travel to client locations when need
Profile
- Several years of professional experience in senior managerial / transformation / transition / process owner (GPO) roles in the area of finance on a regional or global level
- Alternatively: consulting background will be a strong asset
- Experience in working with the SSC / GBS / BPO model is important
- Practical experience in working with automation and technology (AI, RPA)
- Excellent project management skills
- Track record in leading successful teams
- Experience in running complex projects
- Experience in working in / for large global organizations
- Excellent organizational, analytically and problem solving skills
- Very good command of English
- Openness to travel
