Finance Manager (m/f)

Our company is a part of global organization listed od NYSE located near Zawiercie. Reporting to CFO EMEA, close cooperation with Site Manager, supervision of 2 employees.
Description
- Closing month end in JD Edwards accounting software,
- Organising month / year end closing and reporting on financial result of the Company,
- Consolidation of Financial result under US GAAP in Hyperion Financial Management,
- Analysing of financial results,
- Approving of payments (el. Bank transfer),
- US GAAP tax reporting, based on information prepared by local finance staff,
- Statutory Financial accounting (final review and submission of statutory Financial result),
- Final review and submission of various reports for Statistics office, National bank and similar,
- Taking care and following local legislative (finance, accounting, taxes…),
- Final review and submission of tax forms,
- Cooperation with Tax office,
- Controlling of financial activities performed by local Finance department, to be in line with local law, US GAAP, and Group requirements,
- Reviewing Salary control,
- Cooperation with the Bank,
- Cooperation with companies specialized for collection of AR,
- Updating of company procedures,
- Vendors address book updating,
- Journals review,
- Approving BS reconciliations,
- Regional management reporting (local and regional),
- Checking if business activities and business evidences are performed / organized in line with Group policies and procedures,
- Cooperation with statutory and internal auditors,
- Planning activities (Budget, Forecasts, monthly results),
- Updating Financial internal questionnaires and similar documents,
- Following and carrying out provisions form the customer agreements (pricing, escalation formulas, payment terms and similar…),
- Statutory Financial accounting (performing of business evidences, preparation of statutory Financial result),
- Preparation of various reports for Statistics office, National bank and similar,
- Preparation of tax forms, Cooperation with Tax office,
- Fixed asset evidence + reporting,
- Inventory (WIP calculation, codes…) + reporting,
- Reporting on slag and scrap sales, pricing report, pre-payments,
- Issuing of sales invoices for Inter-Company (IC) partners or third parties, approving of prepayments for the invoices,
- Preparing of inputs for salary control,
- Preparing accruals for bonuses, holidays, CIT and deferred tax calculation,
- Preparing cost allocations,
- Reviewing support files for Balance Sheet reconciliation.
Profile
- Polish and Good English Speaker
- Qualified accountant
- Willing to travel across Poland sites as well as internationally as and when required
- Team player
- Preferably from manufacturing background
- Managerial experience preferred (Need to manage 2 accountants)
- Experience of JD Edwards or Oracle software
- Experience of Hyperion Financial Management and Hyperion Planning Application
