Finance Manager - Financial Planning&Analysis

Finance Manager will provide robust end to end financial and operational performance planning and analysis to drive implementation of overall Client's strategy. The role will be responsible for preparation of presentations that provide thoughtful analysis, identify actions, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made. It will have alignment of annual targets and KPIs, supported by functional Finance Business Partners and Leadership.

Description

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's strategy, the overall brand strategy and the nuanced strategies of key markets
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial and business performance reporting and analysis in a timely manner in line with the FP&A requirements
• Prepare reporting and analysis that drives insight into action
• Run and continuously improve budgeting and financial forecasting processes
• Proactively monitor financial and operational data and KPI trends to identify and understand business challenges.
• Develop financial models and analyse them to support strategic initiatives
• Involvement in finance led, strategic and cross functional projects
• Track performance of investment projects by determining key drivers, drive the right set of analysis and present conclusions including post implementation review
• Responsible for product costing and transfer prices set up and communication to the Markets
• Manage currency cash flow for each business unit and ensure appropriate currency hedging in place
• Take an active role in implementation of and adherence to finance requirements, systems and processes
• Lead the Analytics roadmap in Finance, eg implement Power BI as well as other finance tools. Drive implementation and adoption of self service dashboard reports
• Look outside for new ideas and best practice examples. Constantly look to understand potential gaps between performance/processes versus benchmarks
• Ensure robust control environment including SOX, FCF, ABC, Turnbull and other
• Support internal and external audit requests as required
• Business Partner directly with the business stakeholders, Finance team, Group Finance, Hub to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
• Manage, lead and develop team, ensuring objectives are set and delivered, coupled with supporting personal development goals and aspirations

Profile

• ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant or equivalent with post qualification experience
• FP&A experience gained within established FMCG businesses
• Strong working knowledge of accounting, controlling and finance operations
• Proven Supply Chain Experience
• Analytical expert with excellent modelling skills
• Experience developing financial reports and metrics
• Proven people management experience
• Project management experience
• Working knowledge of SAP, knowledge of Power BI or other visualisation tools would be an advantage
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to challenge and maintain positive working relationships
• Sound commercial sense and able to consider the wider business perspective
