

Finance Director
Finance Director will lead the finance and accounting function for a entity located in Poznan area. Key to the success of the role will be to ensure continuity of financial operations as well as secure company to new ventures and investment plans.

Description
- Overall managing finance and purchasing processes in the production plant
- Managing a financial reporting for the organization. This includes monthly/periodical financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting as well as all statutory financial reporting
- Providing sound financial support and insights to enable the Board/MT making business decisions
- Presenting financial results and insights to the Board/MT and to non-finance people (mainly local management team) to understand and build/improve financial awareness in operational teams
- Participating in formulation strategic/key improvement initiatives and providing support in their execution
- Collaborating tightly with local management and European finance team
- Managing and overseeing the taxation affairs of the organization and liaising with the external tax/legal firms for specialist advice
- Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controls
- Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the organization is compliant with accounting standards (The Accounting Act) and all applicable regulations
- Managing and overseeing the company's banking arrangements and the company's financial systems
- Advising and implementing best practice methods to optimize/reduce costs
- Managing and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information
- Creating, reviewing, improving finance and purchasing procedures ensuring they comply with related internal (CoA) and external (legal) requirements and regulations
Profile
- Experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven record of success (preferred production companies)
- Sound decision making skills based on accurate and timely analyses
- Results oriented and metrics driven
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate and manage staff at all levels
- Ability to lead by example and demonstrate a strong sense of integrity, ethics and dependability
- Professional written and oral communication skills both Polish and English
- Strategic thinking, planning and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and collaborate with upper management to organize, plan and achieve company financial goals
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA/ CIMA/Auditor
