Finance Director (EMEA, APAC) (m/f)

Client Details
Our client is a multinational company with operations all over the world and a global leader in theirs specialist services. Due to continued growth of the company and a more complex business environment, the company is looking for an experienced candidate with excellent leadership qualities for the position of Finance Director. The selected candidate will be responsible for operational and strategic finance management of the business operations in EMEA and APAC regions with a focus on commercial support.
Description
- Manage all operational and strategic finance and accounting operations for the company
- Support in month-end group reporting, including P&L and additional ad-hoc reports
- Ensure proper control of company and its subsidiaries through business reviews, business process reviews in area of treasury and group liquidity management, intercompany sales and transfer pricing
- Work with Business Line Managers to standardize and improve performance (EMEA, APAC)
- Preparation of cyclical financial and business reports for management
- Preparation and evaluation of budgets and forecasts for be the businesses in EMAE & APAC regions
- Review departmental performance against budget and providing management information on all areas of cost and revenue as requested.
- Verification of cost allocation to profit centers\cost centers (EMEA , APAC)
- Supervise the statutory and tax reporting process and ensure it is in line with local Polish legal requirements and group transfer pricing policies
- Provide leadership for the team of finance and subordinates including training, coaching and development
- Provide extensive business and commercial support to local and group management so that business decisions can be taken effectively
- Fully responsible for the group internal (audit) control process
- Work closely with Shared Service Center and manage relationship with transactional accounting team
- Lead various regional finance projects in order to meet key business objectives
Profile
- University degree with a preference for a degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA or other professional Finance certificate highly desired
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in progressive finance roles, with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Previous Big 4 Experience is highly desired
- Experience in large multinational organization with strong focus on group reporting is required
- Experience in working with a Shared Service Center is highly desired
- Proven track record of effective team management and leadership
- Fluent Polish and English required
