The client is a Medical Devices company who operate internationally. Their main focus are diagnostic devices and equipment for hospitals and laboratories. With their professional services they offer full support to their costumers.

Role Description

As a Field Service Engineer you are improving consumer satisfaction by troubleshooting, delivering accurate and fast service on the spot. You are part of the Field Service Engineer Team in the Netherlands and report to the Manager System Support. You are driven to create a career for yourself and develop yourself on professional level. You have worked with Diagnostic equipment and know how to handle complaints and faults.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for installing and maintaining the devices and equipment in hospitals and laboratories both preventive and corrective. Furthermore you will be responsible for the following:
- Installing the instruments/systems to ensure continuous quality;
- Technical support for analytical systems for laboratories;
- Preventive and corrective maintenance, system modification and updates;
- Manage stock (spare parts), measuring equipment and tools;
- Administration of labor related to Field Service Engineer;
- Consignment service, scheduled both on weekdays and in the weekend;
- Notice, create and pass down commercial changes.

Requirements

- B.Sc. (medical) Engineering, preferably additional education in data communication techniques;
- Knowledge and experience of Diagnostics and laboratories;
- Fluent in English and Dutch speaking or willing to learn Dutch;
- Strong communication skills.
