ROLE DESCRIPTION
My client is looking for a facilities manager who will be mainly responsible for leading and deploying a broad range of key site services for a set of selected Regional Campus(es) that includes but is not limited to: Security, mailroom, food services, graphics/reproduction, mail copy services, housekeeping, shipping and receiving, grounds maintenance and space planning management.
You will serve as a single point of accountability at regional campus level for soft services with high focus on customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
20%: Manage priorities for soft services delivery including the development of performance based contracts and support the regional facilities management teams in delivery of soft services to KPI/targets as well as timing on both business and standardisation expectations. It is essential that you have the ability to represent the facilities management team with senior leaders.
50%: Manage and leverage resources for soft services deployment including; Insource/ outsource and associated headcount, training/ competency strategy and management, contract delivery and service delivery site/platform/business master plan, and budget. It is essential to have expertise in project execution.
20%: Responsible for managing the operational and lifecycle management of soft services performance based contracts. Oversee budget, capacity management, service upgrade plans, and changes in service levels.
10%: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for soft service execution. Support the Center of Excellence (CoE) as a cross-site expert and participate in updating global standards and contract development and negotiations.

- Responsible for managing the contracts of outsourced activities of the diverse group of facilities service providers supporting a customer group that spans a defined geographic region with focus on optimizing service levels and driving operational efficiencies.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
- Degree in an Engineering/Business or equivalent discipline with supervisory experience required.
- Related experience in facilities management is preferred.
- MBA is desirable.
- PE/PEx/FPx certification is desirable.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
- Sr Manager: BS 12-15 yr
- Manager: BS 9-12 yr
- And/Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY AND EXPERIENCE
- Contract negotiation/execution and project management skills.
- Expertise in Contract Management and Customer Relationship Management.
- Good Written and oral communications at different Organizationals levels.
- Financial/budget management.
- Ability to effectively partner and deliver results in a Matrix environment.
- Ability to focus strategically while maintaining a tactical/operational focus
- Ability to lead diverse teams through change and organizational transformation
- Influencing skills and strong analytical skills
- Broad understanding of facilities management and Compliance, GMP, EHS, SOX and other regulatory standards
- Ability/experience in managing an outsourced staff
- Leadership capabilities including talent development and performance management
NON-TECHNICAL PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
- Some flexibility in working hours is required
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision;
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter;
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills;
- Able to follow change management for internal guidelines.
