Experienced Marketing & Communication Expert

Catalyze is a fast-growing and ambitious consulting company specializing in raising funding for the biotechnology and life sciences industry. Catalyze operates within a strong European network, and provides support to entrepreneurs and researchers in requesting national and international (EU) grants (such as HORIZON2020), government-guaranteed loans (Innovation Credit, BMKB) and tax incentives (WBSO). In addition, Catalyze provides services in business cases, writing business plans, project management and administrative services. Catalyze provides services to various types of organizations such as the Middle Small Business (SME), large companies (multinationals), universities and research organizations. In connection with further Catalyze's national and international positioning and branding, the company immediately seeks an experienced marketing & communications expert for 4 to 5 days a week (0.8-1.0 FTE). As part of the job, you are responsible for managing and spending the annual marketing budget and performing the selected marketing activities and tools. Activities include Catalyze branding in the (inter)national market, conducting marketing policies, compiling press and news releases, blogging, making relevant marketing content available to the team, maintaining and consolidating relationships with relevant media channels , Organizing events, conducting targeted marketing campaigns and activities, as well as online and social media marketing activities. It is the challenge in the marketing approach to be appealing to the various target groups.

Activities 

• Generate leads by using a variety of marketing tools
• Implement and update the marketing and communication year plan, national and international
• Enhance Catalyze's profiling and the related communication design
• Develop and implement the communication policy
• Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy and online (social media) approach
• Organize and subsequently evaluate events and seminars
• Generate relevant content for press releases, newsletters and campaigns
• Maintain the website
• Monitor market and industry developments
• Maintain relationships with relevant agencies, industry organizations and media channels
• Overall responsibility for all marketing expenses

• A driven and result orientated marketeer with excellent communication skills;
• you are initiative-rich, strategic, pragmatic, enthusiastic, creative, pro-active;
• you have experience with a national and international branding campaign;
• you are ready to be the marketing signboard for Catalyze worldwide;
• firm in your ideas and you know how to put these into action in our organization and communicate these to our clients;
• a minimum of 3-5 year work experience in a commercial (online) environment;
• experience with online and digital media;
• preference given to an applicant with affinity and experience in science / science communication / pharmaceutical or medical industry;
• you work independently and have a solid grasp of online communication tools;
• knowledge of SEO, SEA, Google AdWords and Google Analytics is self-evident;
• Dutch and English speaking and writing;
