Excel VBA Expert
Location: Remote PolandWe are currently for a Excel VBA Expert who will work on control requirements (in particular EUC controls/remediation) for the bank.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Excel VBA expert in EUC remediation
- Undertake the analysis of MS Excel VBA against control requirements for business (in particular EUC controls) for the following areas:
o Storage, backup and archiving
o Change control, including testing and version control
o Access control, use of encryption, cell locking to prevent accidental tampering
o Input validation, integrity of calculation and data
o Error handling for input, calculation and output errors
SKILLS
MUST
Expert in Excel VBA and Experience in EUC remediation within financial services
Some experience of applying the below in Financial services:
- Understanding of typical control requirements for business use of XLS (i.e. EUC controls), e.g.
o Storage, backup and archiving
o Change control, including testing and version control
o Access control, use of encryption, cell locking to prevent accidental tampering
o Input validation, integrity of calculation and data
o Error handling for input, calculation and output errors
