European Accounting Manager - NEW SSC - Prague
The group is looking for a strong Accounting Manager to manage several Entities Accounting. The head of accounting ensures the right implementation of all new accounting guidance as well as the continuous alignment and harmonisation of all accounting topics within the group.

Description
- Provides financial management and leads the global Accounting Department
- Performs and leads end to end activities in Account to Report processes
- Prepares and manages month, quarter and year-end close activities from an accounting perspective
- Ensures accurate and timely reporting, meets all corporate and regional deadlines
- Ensure the documentation are complete and all times up to date
- Structures and drives Financial Accounting quality and efficiency through digitisation and automation
- Establish a qualified team, drives engagement and high-quality standards
- Ensure training, coaching, and guidance to new and existing employees
Profile
- Excellent technical financial skills. Ability to understand the balance sheet & income statement impacts of every transaction and to challenge or propose material accounting judgmentally entries when relevant.
- Having experience in setting up the new structures in SSC
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven record of successful leadership and management experience
- Strong Accounting Knowledge
- Effective time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills
- Higher degree in business administration or equivalent finance specific degree
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles and processes
