EU Demand Planning Manager - Leader in chemical industry
The EU Demand Planning Manager for Manufacturing and Operations is responsible for developing and implementing best-practice in demand planning across company manufacturing sites in Europe
Client Details
Our client is an international production company that is a leader in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. In connection with further development plans of the company, among others related to the centralization of tasks in Poland, we are currently looking for a person for the position of EU Demand Planning Manager who will be work in the production Plant in Silesia.
Description
- Manage all aspects of the demand planning process end-to-end S&OP structure, includes all demand planning, forecasting processes, demand planning tools and metrics.
- Drives the deployment of the demand planning process within the overall S&OP process across the company manufacturing and operations organisation.
- Developing 12-24 month demand plan for manufacturing by facilitating the process with the commercial and distribution SC teams, as well as the supply and production planning organisations.
- Provides leadership by partnering with regional and country teams to drive adoption of corporate initiatives into the demand planning and forecasting processes.
- Establishes and reports leading and lagging KPIs, aligned with global policies, to manage the demand planning processes and results in all areas.
- Provides data analysis that drives actions including root cause analysis, problem solving, with actions, owners and timelines.
- Establishes and leads cross-functional teams as necessary to address demand planning process issues that will impact service to customers or business objectives.
- lead the tactical and strategic use of our SAP APO system
- Establishes and deploys best practices to ensure customer and business expectations are met for all processes.
Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in supply chain business or a related field required
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive job experience in demand and supply planning, logistics and procurement required
- Working knowledge of SAP best practices and demand planning super-user capabilities required
- Very good knowledge of English - daily work
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to build relationships with other team members and gain commitment toward stated goals.
- Strong project management skills, prioritisation and strategic planning skills
- Ability to clearly communicate the intended message and teach others technical information
