Engineering Manager Greenfield

For our client we are currently looking for Engineering Manager.

Our client is an international manufacturing company located near Wrocław.

Description

• Initiating and optimising manufacturing processes, especially: mechanical machining of parts (cutting, turning, milling), assembly work
• Leading initiatives to implement new technologies and products into production
• Overseeing the preparation of technical documentation necessary for the launch / implementation of new products
• Conducting employee training processes for the introduction of new technologies / products
• Ensure compliance of key production metrics, i.e. productivity, quality and cost, and report to the Production Manager
• Supervise a team of process engineers and technologists
• Develop and support initiatives to improve production methods to move towards customer experience by improving cycle time, on time delivery and ensure all other critical customer quality areas are at the forefront of strategy
• Optimisation of Kaizen and Lean activities
• Lead operations through lean process and behaviour changes, developing highly effective Daily Management processes focused on tools such as basic problem solving (5 why's), kaizen, A3 thinking, value stream mapping, Kanban visual management, pull processes, creation of flow and adherence to standard work

Profile

• Higher technical education
• Minimum of 4 additional years of experience leading teams in a technology/method process where both expertise and lean leadership have been demonstrated
• Experience in effectively managing an engineering team
• Experience in developing and implementing/transfers new technologies, transfer/production line projects
• Knowledge of English at the very good communicative level
• Ability to make an impact through influencing, coaching, mentoring and teaching.
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills
• Clear thinker, able to analyze and resolve complex problems
• Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects ensuring buy-in from key stakeholders in a matrix environment at all levels
• Established project management skills, experience documenting, planning, and stabilizing programs
