THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Utrecht Netherlands.
The company is specialized in the production and distribution of vaccines. They are an important global player in this market and their prospect for the future is expanding their operations.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Engineering Director, You will be responsible for the overall maintenance and engineering operations. Designing maintenance plans concerning reliability and sustainability of machinery that is in use at the plant will be one of your main tasks. You will also be responsible for investment and expanding projects regarding engineering.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- 6 heads of department will be directly reporting to you in this role. In total you will be managing 80 fte.
- You will design engineering plans regarding corrective/preventive maintenance and new/improvement projects.
- You will be responsible for drafting plans regarding health and safety regulations that are applied to engineering operations. You will also ensure that operations are executed in accordance with these rules and regulations.
- You will be budget-responsible regarding engineering and maintenance operations.
- You will document operations and progress reports and will report directly to the CEO.
REQUIREMENTS
- Technical MSc
- At least 8 years of leadership experience and technical expertize concerning pharmaceutical industry productions
- GMP certified
- Taking responsibilities, "can do"-mentality and a people-manager
- Dutch/English Communications
