For our Client, a global leader in design, engineering and manufacturing of components for Automotive industry, we are currently looking for experienced Electrical Product Engineer, who will join global structure in their plant based in Swidnica.
Electrical Product Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Lead continuous engineering product development initiatives after its implementation into serial production
- Designs, develops, builds, and implements new components, products, or technologies
- Comes up, develops and implements VA/VE cost saving initiatives
- Develops and documents functional requirements and translates into detail design documents. Participates in buy-build analysis for product components
- Researches new materials and competitive products. Organizes, coordinates, and executes building, testing, and analysis of prototypes
- Assists supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and supplier performance. Oversees the efforts of drafting and testing specialists
- Participates in and supports proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports
- Manage the release of the design through the design change process
- Support the change management process from release through validation and implementation
- Creates and maintains Design Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (DFMEA)
- Applies the fundamentals Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T) to the product drawings
- Develops and maintains a product validation test plan (DVP&R)
- Manages prototype part build requirements
- Assist in managing an engineering release program
- Helps managing APQP requirements for product engineering
- Ability to work with a variety of global suppliers to insure parts conform to engineering specifications
- Perform manual engineering calculations (i.e. dimensional stack-ups)
- Ability to work with a variety of global customers
Requirements:
- Knowledge/experience and understanding of Permanent Magnet and Reluctance Motor (and Induction Machines)
- Knowledge/experience and understanding of thermal and electromagnetic Generators/Electric Motors design
- Knowledge/experience in Generators/Electric Motors diagnostic and testing
- Knowledge/experience in designing, validating, and manufacturing of Generators/Electric Motors (for Automotive applications)
- English fluency- technical language
- Advanced computer user (Excel, Power Point)
- Knowledge/experience in performing electromagnetic, mechanical, thermal and NVH analyses
- Self-sufficiency in leading the issues to closure
