Client Details
Our Client is a Scandinavian manufacturing company with a global reach, focused on development of advanced systems for special vehicles.
Description
- Design electrical power & control systems for HVAC products based on customer requirements and specifications
- Identify electrical/electronic components, connectors and wiring required to be used in new and existing products
- Create detailed electrical schematics and wiring harness drawings, documentation, verification and test plans specific to customer and project requirements
- Assign part and drawing numbers and create BOM's
- Participate in quality and change request issues
- Assist in fabrication of prototypes testing and samples for production
- Liaise with customers and vendors for technical information and specifications
- Support sales organization in technical discussions, quotations to customers
- Work in close cooperation with the global engineering team
Profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience gained in electrical design and, preferably, prototyping & testing of electrical/electronic systems
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering
- Very good command of English (both spoken & written)
- Thorough knowledge of 12/24V & 600V DC and 230/400 VAC electrical system design
- Experienced user of AutoCAD Electrical or other CAD program for electrical wiring diagrams and drawings
- Knowledge of electrical AC/DC motors, switches, blowers, fans, heating elements, contactors, circuit breakers, fuses and control electronics
- Ability to read/interpret and write technical specifications
- Experience with communication technology (i.e. CAN Bus) is an asset.
- Experience in Bus and/or Off Road (Construction, Mining, Forestry, Agriculture) industry would be an asset
- Familiar with MS Office
- Good team player with pronounced social skills
- Willingness to take over responsibility
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
