We are currently seeking a Quality Director for our high profile international client being an international manufacturing company operating in advanced manufacuring solutions sector. In this role will responsible for developing and setting the strategic direction for the Quality Operations.

Description
- Develop and provide strategic direction for overall product quality of manufacturing operations
- Appointed as main customer focus point of contact to develop and perform customer presentations
- Lead, direct, develop quality assurance staff
- Ensure that all quality-related documentation is up-to-date and accurate, including control plans, FMEAs, and PPAPs
- Review inspection methods, policies and procedures to meet quality objectives
- Lead cross functional teams to develop and drive preemptive action plans to ensure preventive measures are implemented for possible failure modes identified in production part approval process.
- Ensure that the training structure for both new and existing talents and hires are carried out
- Maintain a cooperative and productive working partnership and relationship with internal and external partners, customers, and overseas sites
- Responsible and lead Change Management
- Working as QMS Attorney with appropriate support
- Support and participate in the EH&S programs and activities within the company
- Participate in audits and inspections as and when required
- Attend EH&S training programs and takes personal responsibility for safety
- Emphasize a total quality management process which provides accuracy, and strict compliance with agency regulations and customer requirements, giving the highest degree of confidence; understanding that meeting the requirements of the next employee in the work flow process is just as important as meeting the needs of internal & external customers
Profile
- Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Production Engineering
- MBA or a higher degree in a relevant field is advantageous
- At least 10 years' experience in a Precision Engineering / Manufacturing / Quality environment inclusive of at least 5 years in management position preferably in automotive industry
- Strong and sound knowledge in the concept of Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance initiatives.
- Good analytical and technical problem-solving skills
- Assertive yet tactful in approach
- Technical expertise in a precision engineering / manufacturing field
- Development of Quality Strategy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with excellent people management and leadership skills
- Change management experience
- Experience in global cooperation
