Demand Planning Manager // Noord-Brabant, NL

This is an unique opportunity to work for one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies.Role Description
As Demand Planning Manager you will be focusing on product availability, analyzing and continuous improvement. It is needed to review and understand sales trends and market development in order to have the right forecast on SKU/unit level.Responsibilities
- Manage weekly and/or monthly meetings with finance commercial team in countries in Europe- Advise and identify improvements to work with sales affiliates on unit forecasting
- Assemble and manage monthly demand plan
- Understand supply impact of demand changes by doing scenario analysis (safety stock setting, remaining shelf life requirement, phase out constraints, batch sizes, etc)
- Set supply strategy and planning parameters into planning system
- Manage product inventory and minimize scrap exposure
- Advise and support distribution requirements planning (DRP) to ensure replenishment of local stock points is executed appropriately
- Co-operate with global supply chain located in the US
- Collaborate with Site Planning on timely availability of production batches
- Align with Supply Management on demand and supply control measures
- Align with Regional Operations Leads concerning new launches, lifecycle management activities and transitions
- Measure Key Perfomance Indicator and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor / Master in Supply Chain- +3 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of Excel and similar tools
- Analytical skills
- Stakeholder management
- Pharmaceutical experience (GMP/GDP)
- Kinaxis/Rapid Response experience
- Volatile market experience
