THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Utrecht Netherlands.
They are a medium sized company who are currently undergoing tremendous growth.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the demand planner you act upon the forecasts made by the sales department and assist in adjusting these along the way. This requires a close cooperation with the sales, customer service and operations departments. You will be creating the best possible demand planning by continuously improving current processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the long term demand planning, up to one year. By working closely with different departments you create the best possible planning and adjust whenever truly necessary. By continuously analysing several parts of the organisation you are able to act quickly when things go side ways. This also requires you to keep several external stakeholders in line from time to time. You will also be responsible for:
- Creating the basis for the overall supply chain planning
- Optimising several variables which influence your planning
- Being an active part of the S&OP proces
- Analysing and assisting in creating KPI's
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc or MSc degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics or similar
- A first experience in a planning position
- Experience with SAP and Excel is a big pre
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- An analytical mindset
