Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
They are a globally active pharmaceutical player who is looking to improve their current position.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the Demand Planner you are responsible for an accurate and complete sales forecast and deep analysis which can be used by client’s BU to complete their operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the sales forecasting process, demand planning and the management of proposed demand plans as part of the S&OP planning processes. Next to that you are also responsible for:
· Management of statistical forecast models, generating of demand forecasts and obtaining essential input from the sales and marketing department
· Translating the results of S&OP cycles into a proper demand plan and financially drive plans in coordinance with the business unit financial manager and sales management.
· Driving the DRM (Demand Review Meetings) with Sales Managers (global and regional) to validate the overall performance of the business unit
· Building, collecting and evaluating industry and market data using data sources and internatal and external stakeholders. You will transform this data into industry maps explaining and highlighting key (regional) industry trends and developments which have effect on the long term planning
· Establish and coordinate allocation plans and the execution of it in case of shortage.
· Responsible for forecasting related to master data with either SAP or OMP
REQUIREMENTS
· BSc or MSc degree in Logistics or something similar
· 2-5 years of working experience in a similar role such
· Knowledge of SAP environment
· Capable of analyzing problems on a high level, pro-active and structured
· Experience at a big multinational company is a plus
· Good social skills and being able working in a team
