For our client, an international IT Company, we are currently looking for a Data Warehouse Engineer.
Your new role
You will be part of the Customer IT department, focusing mainly on Customer Analytics.
As a Data Warehouse Engineer in Customer Analytics your goal is to create the data infrastructure in a simple and efficient matter. You will design, build and integrate data from various sources. Writing complex queries that make data easily accessible, work smoothly while optimising the performance of the company’s Big data ecosystem and many other analytical and data driven solutions.
Your stack will, amongst others, consist of Azure related services (i.e.: Snowflake, SQL Server, Azure tooling, Databricks, Spark). Data Warehouse Engineers will work closely with our business partners in Sales, Marketing, Finance and Customer Solutions.

You have a hands-on mentality to solve complex issues and you feel personally committed to the goal setting and delivery of the team (local and international). You are keen to learn new tools in software development and you have an Agile mindset; a SCRUM way of working. Furthermore, you recognise yourself in the following profile:

- You have at least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer / Python Developer
- You can create data pipelines with Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, SHIR, Blob storage, SQL Server and you really understand big data
- You have a bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or comparable
- You are up to date with the latest Big Data technologies and have an affinity to keep it up to date. You have a drive to automate and to continuously improve
- You have experience with building solutions using big data sets (Parquet, AVRO, data streaming)
- You write software and understand SQL & Python
- You are hands-on and do what is required to deliver an end-to-end solution
