For our client from Gdynia, one of the world’s largest providers of financial markets data and infrastructure, we are looking for Data Science Analysts/Analytics Workflow Product Managers.
Your new role
We are currently looking to hire individuals with knowledge of various econometric, machine learning and deep learning frameworks, and their pipelines. Also important is the ability to apply appropriate libraries and models for prediction and classification along with the ability to communicate model strengths, trade-offs and deficiencies.
Some Of The Daily Tasks:
Leading end to end product lifecycle.
Interacting with development teams to specify backend requirements.
Communicating to our internal and client stakeholders on the merits of our capabilities and our product roadmaps and status.
Specification reviewing and writing for aspects of the solution that may require engagement from other cross-functional teams.
Collaborating with, learning from, mentoring, and guiding other team members across Labs, Product, Engineering, Proposition and Customer Ops and build a positive and productive work environment.
What you'll need to succeed
WHAT TO BRING?
Product management/development experience in developing analytical products using data science OR equivalently strong background in data science, financial quantitative methods, econometrics or financial mathematics.
Either proven understanding of financial markets OR technical acumen including proficiency in one programming language (Python highly preferred).
Experience in financial valuation or risk modelling especially for financial instruments.
Ability to co-create cross-functionally and coordinate execution of product roadmaps across teams using agile methods and product lifecycle methodology.
Ability to communicate the solution, its parameters, its assumptions and inner workings to audiences who vary widely in their levels of technical and markets proficiency and seniority.
Understanding of the technical implementation trade-offs to ensure requirements are not misunderstood or being ignored by a given implementation plan.
Proficiency in English.
Competitive Skills:
Shown skills in at least some of the following:
Time-Series forecasting
Discounted cash flow modelling, Stochastic Methods or Strategy Back testing
SQL or NoSQL queries
AWS or GCP Cloud
Docker or Kubernetes
Machine or Deep Learning using Python toolkits including sci-kit, Tensorflow, Pytorch and others
