For our client who is a leading international tobacco company, with a diverse workforce of around 73,500 people who hail from every corner of the globe we are looking for: Data Governance Expert
Localization: Kraków or 100% Remote
We seek Candidates who have:
- Bachelor degree, preferably Math, Stats, Finance, Economics, Accouting or Engineering
- Strong knowledge and coding experience with VBA (MS Access) and SQL
- Good knowleadge of PowerBI solution (desiarable)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
- Ability to assimilate information quickly and understand the context of reporting deliverables produced
- At least two years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a regulated environment involving risk management/finance
- Experience in project management would be beneficial

You will be responsible for:
- Gathering the data from various databases/systems (Data Lake, DWHs, flat files etc.)
- Creation a business database solution based on MS Access or/and AWS
- ETL activities allowing to create/perform automated checks in requied rythym
- Taking part in Data Governance working group(s) dedicated to Data Architecture area
- Monitoring identified data discrepencies accross databases used within Data Architecture IT Landscape
- Creation a dedicated or ad hoc PowerBI reports ( as an asset)
