Cost Accounting & Reporting Coordinator - new role!

Our Client, a global FMCG company famous for their high quality products is now looking for an Accounting Coordinator, who can help them expand their high-performing Supply Chain Finance structures.

Our Client is a global FMCG company whose products are famous all around the world. They are currently expanding their GBS structure in Warsaw.

Description

• Supporting Manager in workload distribution among teams
• Providing feedback on the work done by the team and sharing observations with Manager
• Supporting Manager in coordinating Period End Closing process (in Supply scope area) for all regional factories and markets
• Ensuring process quality and delivering accurate and timely financial results for all units
• Being first point of contact for the Team (operational issues, escalations) and for Business Units
• Supporting Manager in recruitment and on-boarding of new team members
• Performing period close activities in supply chain finance area (Complex Journals Entries and Complex Period Close activities / analysis / controls).
• Providing Insights to Business Units based on information, trends, and analysis of results (in terms of Variance analysis, performance analysis, waste & inventory analysis).

Profile

• University degree in Finance and Accounting/Business Management or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Finance and Accounting; experience in a production company will be beneficial
• Advanced knowledge of Financial Accounting and reporting processes, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Source and Use of Cash is required
• US GAAP knowledge will be an asset
• End user experience with SAP, advanced Excel skills.
• Strong people skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Track record in building effective teams and developing direct reports, especially with strong functional/technical requirements.
• Fluency in English, at least on a C1 level.
