Global Business Services Center established in Cluj-Napoca is seeking a new member in their Global Legal department.
Your new role
Support a Global Legal team of experienced legal counsels and other stakeholders in all legal aspects referring to company registration, company updates and changes at a global level. Provide legal advice regarding local law to the Managing Director of the Business Service Center in Cluj. Manage the appointment and release of legal representatives, powers of attorney of the Group Companies in over 40 countries and ensure the compliance of the documentation with changing legal requirements in these countries in collaboration with external local specialists in those countries. Moreover the role will manage the reporting calendar of all companies worldwide (make sure that annual general meetings, financial statements, tax reports and other filings are performed/filed on time) and also create and maintain various Data Rooms with information relevant for Due Diligence purposes (Company Documents, Major Contracts, Permits etc.) You participate in local, regional or global legal projects as an opportunity to enhance and widen your skills.
What you'll need to succeed
Applicants for this role will need a successful Master or Bachelor degree in Law. Additional qualifications such as Bar Exam or LL.M. are a plus. Relevant experience in the field of corporate law and commercial law in a law firm, consultancy firm or in an industrial group. Your excellent English skills (written and spoken) will enable you to easily communicate with internal colleagues and external contacts around the globe. Additional languages are a plus.
You will demonstrate excellent drafting and documentation skills with a high attention to detail, consistency and timeliness, combined with the ability to see the big picture. You are hands-on and able to work independently. You are able to find your way through the organisation. You are an entrepreneurial thinking person with the ability to understand processes from end to end. You show a keen interest to actively promote and implement continuous improvements of quality, speed and cost effectiveness of the services you provide to the organisation.
