For our Client, an international company with American capital manufacturing plant-based recyclable fiber solutions for packaging industry due to opening the first greenfield in Poland- near Katowice, we are looking for Construction & Facility Project Manager.
As a Facility Project Manager you will be responsible for managing our new facilities planning and site planning. You’ll work to ensure the effective management of our organization's infrastructure, space, and assets and you will oversee the construction of Greenfield factories and renovation of Brownfield buildings and control space allocation. Also you will oversee all activities inside the buildings, making sure that health and safety standards are met and arranging for repairs when needed. You will report to the SVP of Manufacturing EMEA with a dotted line to the VP Global Facilities. You will work together in tracking expenses and coordinating with external vendors.

Qualifications:
- Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Packaging, Industrial, or equivalent field;
- Completed courses/certificates in facilities management and project management will be advantageous;
- Minimum of 8 years of similar experience (has managed equipment installation into factories) in a complex and corporate industrial environment;
- Broad experience in facility coordination, project management and/or real estate.
Skills:
- Excellent project management skills with ability to lead and manage complex technical projects;
- Technical (Electrical / Mechanical) knowledge;
- Strategic mindset and decision making ability, drive solid business cases, manage decision making process and being decisive;
- Proficient in Autocad;
- Proficient in project planning and execution eg: MS project
- Experience with assessing/setting up of Industrial lay outs;
- Experience with budgetting and follow up of investments;
- Excellent Polish and English speaking and writing skills;
- Experience with general Food safety Guidelines / HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Stakeholder management, ensures accountability and takes ownership towards stakeholders such as construction contractors (mechanical, process, electrical), real estate developers and landlords, utility companies, governmental organizations (environmental permits etc.), Footprint Arizona Engineering;
- Administration skills and financial acumen;
- Thorough and attention to detail;
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure;
- Selfstarter.
Responsibilities:

- Work together with VP of Supply Chain & Procurement in sourcing and overseeing contracts and service providers for functions such as catering, cleaning, parking, security, and technology;
- Advising businesses on measures to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility;
- Ensuring that basic facilities are well-maintained and conducting proactive maintenance;
- Dealing with emergencies as they arise;
- Managing budgets and planning for the future by forecasting the facility’s upcoming needs and requirements;
- Ensuring that facilities meet compliance standards and government regulations;
- Overseeing any renovations, refurbishments, and building projects;
- Drafting maintenance reports.
