We are looking for experienced Candidates who would like to join new GBS in Gdansk - Maersk Drilling.
We are looking for analytical, detail-oriented and independent finance system specialists to be responsible for finance consolidation system as Consolidation Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take functional ownership of the Financial Consolidation System ( One Stream)
- Support our super users with training, consulting and best practice understanding
- Develop training material for all modules as well as conduct trainings for the team, where applicable.
- Be responsible for all the Finance Master & Basic Data (both creating and approving & the process around it)
- Participate in cross functional teams as an expert on Finance Systems and Processes
- Ability to work very closely with solution architects to designs practical/ pragmatic solution to business problems
- Constantly striving for continues improvements and eliminating non-value adding activities within the reporting process and function
- Act as the owner of the RtR process
- Lead the optimization and administration of Blackline reconciliation system including maintenance, granting access, data verification, user assignments, training and workflow management
- Provide systems support as required in understanding consolidation, eliminations etc
- Provide governance, create best practices for usage of automation within the organization
- Support project to enhance reporting/analytical tools and to optimize use of other systems
- Support business with various ad hoc projects as required
Requirements:
- Have a solid experience ( +7 years ) of working with Finance Systems as Systems Administrator
- Have experience in working with ERP and Consolidation systems
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Have experience with finance processes such as accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, invoicing, re-consolidation etc.
- Have technical IFS competencies
- Masters in Finance
- Excellent English communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, especially MS Excel
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards
- Strong problem solving, analytical and accounting skills
