THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Groningen Netherlands.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The commissioning of a plant is a well-planned approach to start-up and hand-over the facility to the end-user. The Commissioning Manager will head all the commissioning activities during the commissioning period and is part of the project team. It is assumed that before the commissioning phase, the complete construction and installation of the facility has been done. Also factory acceptance tests , I/O tests, leakage and pressure tests, etc. of key equipment are carried out. Next to this, general training training to key personnel has been provided, but specific training has to be organised. The commissioning manager will closely cooperate with the end-users and other project team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Set up an commissioning plan and prepare a time schedule of activities.
· Organize the resources for an efficient commissioning, e.g. operators, materials, utilities in close cooperation with the end-user
· Daily follow-up on site progress during commissioning phase.
· Mediation between all external contractors, if need performing daily stand-up meetings.
· Acts as communication funnel between contractors and internal client/stakeholders.
· Preparing of technical solutions in case of exceptions or gaps in frozen designs in cooperation with other project team members.
· Daily monitoring on workplace safety regulations.
· Weekly reporting of commissioning progress towards Project Manager
· Reporting and escalation towards Project Manager in cases of non-conformities.
· Leading site progress meetings and managing punch lists.
· Final project delivery according to set designs, quality, deadlines and budget.
· Organization and delivery of the documentation
REQUIREMENTS
· Experience in process industry
· Mechanical and electrical engineering.
· Project coordination.
· Knowledge of workplace and safety regulations.
