Our Client is an international manufacturer operating in packaging industry with long history in Poland. Good plant location and perspectives to grow within a group is also a plus for choosing this opportunity.
Description
- work within central finance team to support Sales organisation (and specifically Sales and Market Segment Directors) with provision of standardised data on pricing, margins, sales development across the business
- provide analysis for a full understanding of customer profitability and the divers for profitability improvement
- supports Sales and R&D organisation in financial analysis and scenario calculation for (NPD) project
- lead IC cost comparison between different sites and support production allocation for specific products
- act as a sparring partner to Sales and NPD organisation to stimulate sales strategic thinking and execution
- drive better interaction between systems/financial data and sales driven decisions
- lead margin analysis across customer/product portfolio and ensure regular standard process in place across the business
- participate in Pricing Committee's, Key Account tender preparation and ensure data discussed is consistent and transparent
- analyse sales to identify opportunities for increased cross-selling and also take lead on price benchmarking exercises
- manage sales funnel preparation to ensure new sales opportunities are appropriately tracked and followed
- review segment (market) sales performance and map trends for Sales Directors/Teams
- optimise systems output to increase automation of sales data capture
Profile
- previous experience in controlling essential - ideally commercial controlling
- may have background from the consumer goods industry (i.e. from multinational FMCG company)
- commercial and strategic mindset
- people person with ability to build relationships quickly
- willingness to speak your mind
- strong excel skills
- excellent written and spoken English (role will involve some international travel)
- multi-functional and/or international business experience and advantage but not mandatory
