Commercial Controller/Business Controller

For our Client, a manufacturing company located in Poznan, we are looking for Candidates for the position of Commercial Controller. The Person in this position will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations and supporting the commercial decision-making process. This position requires excellent analytical skills and the ability to partner with various departments to optimize financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
- Conduct profitability analysis for products, services, and business units.
- Develop forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Analyze variances between actual performance and budgets/forecasts, providing actionable insights.
- Conduct pricing and margin analyses to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Evaluate the financial feasibility of new projects, investments, and market expansions.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to align financial goals with business activities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, offering data-driven recommendations.
- Drive automation and digitization of financial processes to enhance efficiency.
- Identify inefficiencies in financial and operational processes, proposing and implementing improvements.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure accurate reporting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling, commercial finance, or a related role.
- Experience in a multinational or Polish mid-to-large-sized company (preferred).
- Proficient in English.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis.
- Excellent Excel skills
