Andea is looking for a Director to manage Manufacturo software delivery. We need a candidate who is technically strong, energetic, highly collaborative, and passionate about products and customers. You will lead a team of exceptional and developers leveraging Azure DevOps toolset and Azure cloud technologies. We are building a new software product, and this opportunity provides the chance to make your mark! Are you up to the challenge?

Responsibilities:
• Drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with many cross functional teams, architects, product owners and engineer
• Make critical decisions that attribute to the success of the product
• Proactive in foreseeing issues and resolve it before it happens
• Ensuring all engineering teams are tracking to their deliverables
• Partner with counterpart stakeholders to align with objectives, priorities, tradeoffs and risk
• Ensuring teams have clear priorities and adequate resources
• Empowering the delivery team to self-organize
• Be a multiplier and have a passion for team and team members’ success
• Providing technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members
• Maintaining high morale and motivating the delivery team to go above and beyond
• Vocally advocating for technical excellence and helping the teams make good decisions
• Participating in architecture discussions, road mapping, planning, and execution
• Participating in cross-functional coordination, planning, and reviews with leads from several engineering teams
• Maintaining and fostering our culture by interviewing and hiring only the most qualified individuals
• Occasionally contributing to development tasks such as coding and feature verifications to assist teams with release commitments, to gain understanding of the deeply technical product as well as to keep your technical acumen sharp

Wymagania

Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Master / Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or Equivalent Experience
• 10 years’ of software delivery experience
• 5 years’ experience leading software development teams
• Strong software engineering or development background in cloud solutions (preferably Azure)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills
• Ability to be nimble, proactive, comfortable working with minimal specifications
• Experience with short release cycles, the full software lifecycle, and experience working on a product that’s been released for public consumption
• Experience in hiring smart, talented engineers to build a high performing team
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, CI/CD, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and project management to understand requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs

Nice To Have Skills:
• Development in Angular or .NET
• Azure DevOps toolset and Azure cloud technologies
• Experience with IOT or IIOT
• Security platform/software

What can you expect?
Andea is a global MES (Manufacturing Execution System) software integrator of systems like DELMIA Apriso, DELMIA Ortems, and our own MES platform, Manufacturo. Our software solutions have helped companies like CoorsTech, Bombardier, or Sierra Nevada Corporation to better track, manage and optimize their production processes.

Our goal is simple: we want to help global manufacturers to become more data-driven in their daily operations through the use of the latest technologies.
