Chief Accountant with German
Miejsce pracy: PoznańPrincipal duties:
- Monthly legal P&L and BS for Germany and Austria
- Monthly management accounts for Germany and Austria
- Supervising monthly clearing
- Reviewing the work done by the shared service centre
- Month-end closing activities and group reporting
- Assisting Controlling department with analysis and forecasts
- VAT accounting and reporting for Germany and Austria
- Contact with payroll service provider
- Audit preparation & contact with auditors
- Develop, execute and maintain efficient processes and internal controls
- Contact with local authorities, banks etc.
- Communicating with other parts of the organisation.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in financial accounting, with experience from German and/or Austrian entities
- University degree, preferably in finance and accounting
- Very good level of German and English, any additional language beneficial
- Good knowledge of German and/or Austrian accounting, tax and VAT rules
- Experience of team management
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Experience with Microsoft Navision is seen as a strong advantage, but is not essential
- Excellent communication & analytical skills
- Ability to grow and develop together with the organization
