For our Client, a multinational well-known company from aerospace industry, we are seeking to recruit an ambitious and experienced talent to join company’s growing team of professionals at a position of Buyer to its greenfield investment located in Lower Silesia region.
The person on this role will be in charge of planning, arranging and executing all purchasing activities in the company, like conducting negotiations and placing orders for general goods and services. As it is a new role and the Buyer we are looking for would be the first member of a Procurement Team, he/she will be will be also responsible for the creation of training concept for future buyers and the development of purchasing department and processes as well as support the continuous improvement of the existing buying activities. What is more, the company will also expect from this person establishing good relationship with suppliers.
To be successful in this role you should have at least 2 years of experience on a similar position across purchasing departments (aerospace industry would be taken as a plus) and a university degree in Business Administration / Logistics or equivalent. Working on independent positions, experience in creation of new purchasing departments and people management will be additional assets. Excellent language skills in Polish and English are must have on this role as well as a high level of flexibility to work in a start-up environment. What is more, expert skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft products are also required. Our Client is seeking a person who is passionate about people and displays a high level of service and customer orientation. He/she must have strong analytical mind, intercultural awareness and the ability and willingness to travel. The perfect candidate must also possess excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills.
