Our client is a professional FMCG organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
As buyer you will work within dynamic environment in order to help the company to realise further growth. In order to do so, you will work within a young and ambitious team with other buyers and focus on the establishment of strategic partnerships. Furthermore, you will work on business cases and support during vendor / supplier selections.
We are looking for an ambitious procurement professional, who wants to be part of an exciting company in the city centre of Amsterdam.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guarantee compliancy to the company’s procurement processes
- Develop and create strategic partnerships with external vendors / suppliers
- Analyse the company’s needs and act accordingly
- Prepare business cases
- Support during vendor / supplier selection processes
- Prepare quotations, negotiate, manage contracts and develop pricing
- Keep ERP system up-to-date
- Manage roll-outs of contracts / agreements within the company
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical or Commercial discipline
- Several years of experience as buyer
- Experience within the retail, chemical or cosmetics industry is a strong plus
- Project Management experience is a strong plus
- Fluency in English and Dutch. German is a strong plus
- Outgoing and assertive personality
