THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Friesland Netherlands.

Our client is a International producer of food ingredients. This growing company is looking for a experienced business developer who is going to extend the International market.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

In this role you will be responsible for the new accounts of the International market. Next to the new accounts you will be responsible to build on the existing clients. You need to be a relationship builder to be able to do this job. Most of your clients are meat companies so you need to have some feeling with the meat market. 25% of your time you will be traveling to different countries in Europe. This can be by yourself or with one other colleague.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Long term relations are really important in this job. To be successful in this role you need to have good market knowledge and you are aware of the trends in the food industry. To be able to do this role you are worked with sales targets before and you always want to improve yourself. The sky is the limit!
Other points to be aware of:
- 25% travel to other countries
- you don't have a 9 to 5 mentality

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor or Master degree. Preferred in food technology
- 7-10 years of experience in New Business Development within the food industry
- a proven track record of the sales successes in previous roles
- Knowledge of food ingredients
- 25% travel to other European countries
- Fluent in Dutch, English and preferred in one other language (French/German)
- Achieving team targets is more important then personal succes
