BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER UP & MIDSTREAM

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identifying new sales leads,
  • pitching products and services,
  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing customers,
  • Increasing client base,
  • Managing large number of complex business projects and closing new business deals,
  • Collaborating with Product Development Managers and other technical team members to ensure successful project implementations,
  • Identifying areas for expansion and development,
  • Developing growth strategies and plans,
  • Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements,
  • Maintaining consistent sales growth by continuously establishing new accounts whilst maintaining existing accounts,
  • Prepare and present powerful, persuasive sales presentations that effectively demonstrate the value proposition of Brenntag’s Oil & Gas products solutions (mainly SC products),
  • Types of products within range of responsibility:
    a) Production Specialty Chemicals,
    b) Drilling Additives,
    c) Stimulation and Acidizing Additives,
    d) Commodities.

QUALIFIC ATIONS:

  • Bachelor degree in science or higher (petroleum engineering or chemistry related degrees welcome),
  • At least 2-years’ experience in sales within the oil & gas, chemicals sales sector,
  • Understanding of oilfield processes is essential,
  • Unique sales skills at various levels of the organization (Field to Top Management Level) is a must,
  • Ability to build and maintain strong mutually beneficial relationships with various customers,
  • Technical communication skills (written and verbal),
  • Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy,
  • Proficiency in English,
  • Full driving license,
  • Willingness to travel,
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills,
  • Being able to approach situations in an objective and analytical matter,
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
